Bill Hansberry is based in Adelaide. SA. He is a teacher, counsellor and change agent for schools. Much of his work is in the field of restorative practices. Ali Palmer is based in the Sunshine Coast, Qld. She is a teacher who has been working in the field of Student Wellbeing for many years. She has extensive knowledge and skills in the areas of social emotional learning. Her background in physical education, community education, pastoral care and learning difficulties enables her to make clear links between theory and practice. Ali is currently working as an Education Consultant for Independent Schools Queensland and KidsMatter. She is leading several projects with over 30 regional Queensland schools. Her projects include supporting Indigenous students from remote communities into boarding school settings as well as supporting schools to implement whole school approaches to student and staff wellbeing. Ali is a passionate educator who believes quality teaching and learning is grounded in positive relationships. Ali is a Director of Wellbeing Australia - an organisation committed to the development of caring, inclusive learning communities. Ali is a trained facilitator for the Circle Solutions framework.
